Morgan Contemporary Glass Gallery in Pittsburgh was ROY’s liaison to the reputable collection

The show Objects of Status, Power and Adornment opens on September 6^th – November 12, 2011.

This invitational coincides with a Boston Museum of Fine Arts, collection exhibition.  ROY has American Dream bracelet in this Daphne Farrago collection.

ROY’s “Nectar Walkers” liqueur cups are currently in this exhibition.  These silver sculptural works were purchased by Karen Johnson Boyd and given as a gift to the Racine Art Museum collection.  The show continues until June 5, 2011.

ROY is in the process of creating work for this invitational group exhibition.

ROY will be exhibiting 3 architectural bracelets.  Two new pieces will be “unveiled,” at this show! 

The exhibition opening was a well attended 6 hour celebration + a reunion of metal art friends!  I wish i had made it to the bash sooner!

Among the 4 pieces, I have a new wall sculpture that you may find wildly biblical!  The show is a revival of the former Pittsburgh Metals Society that I started with another artist in the early 90’s.  The announcement features my Rubber Duckie bracelet!
